1.Hastelloy G35 INTRODUCTION

Hastelloy G-35 is an upgraded product of G-30, it has excellent corrosion resistance in wet process phosphoric acid production environment widely used in fertilizer manufacturing, where it performs far better than G-30 and stainless steel . It is also resistant to localized corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking in chloride-containing media. The high chromium content makes it very resistant to corrosion by other oxidizing acids such as nitric acid and nitric acid-containing mixtures. The higher molybdenum content makes it moderately resistant to reducing acids. Unlike other nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys, Hastelloy G-35 resists dealloying elemental corrosion by hot sodium hydroxide well.
